Sinumerik
The hopit Edge SINUMERIK Target connects to supported Siemens SINUMERIK CNC controllers over TCP/IP and exchanges machine and controller data through standard variables such as axes, channels, and BAGs. Supported controls are SINUMERIK ONE, SINUMERIK 840D PL (Power Line), and SINUMERIK 840D SL (Solution Line).
Data acquired from a SINUMERIK control can be routed to local or cloud targets and supplied to hopit Manufacturing for production monitoring, downtime analysis, and OEE.
Target Configuration​
The Sinumerik Target includes the following parameters:
- Host: Hostname or IP address of the Sinumerik control.
- Rack: Rack ID of the Sinumerik control.
- Slot: Slot ID of the Sinumerik control.
- Sinumerik Model: Select the appropriate model:

Namespace Browser​
Once the Sinumerik target is added, you can browse the available variables using the Namespace Browser by clicking "Show Namespace".
